"the things we normally do in, including any daily activity we perform for self-care (such as feeding ourselves, bathing, dressing, grooming), work, homemaking, and leisure." ref. wikipedia
As a dancer, the words "Practice Makes Perfect" come to mind. If you do the same thing over and over again everyday, it becomes second nature, almost instinctual, and you no longer realize what you're doing or how it came to be that way. Next comes "Use It or Lose It", this should be self explanatory but I like telling stories so...a boy I once knew (ONCE) just stopped showering for whatever reason. This went on for weeks. One day he decided a shower sounded nice and he just couldn't figure out what to do. Shampoo first? No! Soap first? GAH! Long story short, he's still very unwashed to this day.
When you become aware of these things, you start to think of lame-o stuff like "I use my left hand for heavier tasks like steering, answering my phone, turning pages in a book...so my left arm tends to be sorer than my right. Even though I know it hurts, I can't unconsciously stop using my left hand to steer, my left shoulder to mount my giant purses, to pick up my phone and rest it on my shoulder when I talk. I use my right for light activities like writing, eating, brushing my teeth, cutting things with scissors"
......None of this makes sense to me.
I swear I drive myself crazy sometimes.
Here are some pics of some unordinary tasks
Those racks are for belongings, NOT PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!
Leaning against a wall??? Kicking feet up at work??? Who does these things, Honestly???
